PC² volunteer work
Roles in the PC² project include: software development (from cradle to grave), user support, maintaining the web site, adding/editing/maintaining wiki pages, adding/editing Bugzilla bug info, contest support (both Pacific NW Regional and ICPC Finals). In 1989 PC² started as a CSUS Senior Project for Dr. John Clevenger. Mr. Lane was one of the four team members who wrote version 1.0. Mr. Lane has been volunteering continuously at programming contests since 1989.
ACM ICPC Volunteer work
Currently working to support local, regional and the International Finals programming contests.
Volunteers (Systems and programming support) with the ACM Programming Contests since 1990. First Finals supported was in 1990 in Washington DC. Worked at every Finals since 1995.
Ophir Prison Band member
Prison Marching and Temperance Society, Lmtd Sousaphonist.
Other volunteer "work" for Ophir is Unix System Administrator, Web content maintainer, band member.
Work Work
Works as a professional software developer (Java J2EE web service/servlet using eclipse, JBoss and Spring).
Play Play
Mr. Lane plays tennis. He enjoys traveling and enjoys play card/board games and is a cinephile, lexophile and Disney-phile.
