Description Tim deBoer 2016-02-12 12:52:57 PST
On the sysops call today we talked about having scoreboards in the press office, ICPC live, and in the tent. We could do all of these with NUCs installed in those locations, but it makes more sense to use VLC displaying a remote video feed.

Likewise, we could put three NUCs in systems and use VLC to pull the screens, but the framerates may be off, has high CPU use, and generally isn't ideal.

I've proven I can generate presentations into a video file, and there's no reason I couldn't do this to a port instead of a file. Seems like the best solution.

I need to decide if the best place for this is a standalone presentation client that produces video instead of graphics, or it should be another stream on the CDS.
